Ivey Hagwood, MS, LCASA, LCMHCA
Smithfield Site Manager
Ivey is a Nash County, NC native and has a passion for helping and advocating for others. She attended East Carolina University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in University Studies, with an emphasis in Family Services Advocacy, and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling, with a focus on Substance Abuse Counseling. She continued her education at Liberty University in the PhD Counselor Education and Supervision program. Ivey has over 9 years of experience working in the mental health and substance use fields. She has experience in a variety of multidisciplinary teams including outpatient treatment, inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, residential, SAIOP/SACOT, emergency departments and crisis counseling, as well as CST services. Ivey is licensed as a Clinical Addictions Specialist and Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She has also completed The Seven Challenges leadership program. Ivey joined Carolina Outreach as the Smithfield Site Manager in 2025.
