CAROLINA OUTREACH, LLC, has developed clear principles for effective mental health treatment, along with core values and policies that correspond to these treatment principles.

CAROLINA OUTREACH TREATMENT PRINCIPLES

  • Families facing multiple stressors need interventions that address all of their needs.
  • Children belong with their families. Every effort should be made to keep families intact while ensuring safety for all family members.
  • Treatment plans should be developed to address the needs of the client and family.
  • Services must be culturally appropriate, with staff and family relationships based on equality and respect.
  • Services should promote individual and family competence, building on family strengths and the client's own resources.

CAROLINA OUTREACH POLICIES

  • Services are primarily home-based.
  • Services promote family competence.
  • Workers help families address both therapeutic and concrete needs.
  • Workers are available to each family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Workers receive specialized training in the provision of in-home services.
