Carolina Outreach, LLC has developed clear principles for effective mental health treatment, along with policies that correspond to these treatment principles.
Carolina Outreach Treatment Principles
- Families facing multiple stressors need integrated interventions that cut across their entire array of needs.
- Children belong with their families, and every effort should be made to keep families intact while also ensuring safety for all family members.
- Treatment plans should be developed with the needs of the client and family dictating services provided.
- Services must be culturally competent, and should be based on the premise that staff/family relationships are based on equality and respect.
- Services are focused on promoting individual and family competence, building on family strengths and the client's own resources.
Carolina Outreach Policies
- Services are primarily home-based.
- Services focus on promoting family competence.
- Workers will help families address both therapeutic and concrete needs.
- Workers are available to each family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Workers will have received specialized training in the provision of in-home services.
